Tilda Chasing Butterfly:-)

Hi friends,
How are you today ? I hope you are fine with whatever you are doing. I am still in Chinese New Year holidays and I am totally enjoy my holidays with making cards! :-))

Have you seen the Magnolia Ink Magazine #2? I bet many of you have seen it and love it so much, right? it's so beautiful and we can get so many inspirations from the beautiful creations from the Magnolia DTs. May be you have noticed that my card was on the front cover with Tilda chasing the butterfly rubberstamps. Here again , today I want to show you a card I made yesterday using the SAME rubberstamps that I made on the front cover, which contains four rubberstamps,I want to show you a different sketch that I "intepret" the rubberstamps:-))

This is a 6"x6" card. Firstly I color Tilda with color pencils, blended with paper stumps and sansodor. I also used Copic Ciao Markers to color her hair and skin. For the daisy flowers and butterfly I colored with Copic Ciao markers. I used a brush and Vintage Photo distress ink to color the soil. I folded the butterfly a bit and glued it beside Tilda's hand.Sponged the whole paper with Tea-dye distress ink.

Then I cut Magnolia's Lazy Summer Days Collection patterned paper's Vanila Dots sightly smaller that 6"x6" and tear in half, then sponged some Tea-dye Distress Ink and mat on the white cardstock. Before I mat the stamped-and-colored Tilda on a white cardstock, I stamped the Label rubberstamps, sponged with distress ink and I handwriting "Thank You" and adhere it behind the stamped images( Tilda). Tied the lace and ribbon and adhered it on Vanilla dots patterned paper before I adhered the patterned paper on the white cardstock.

Adhere two stripes of ribbon behind the white cardstock and adhere the white card stock above the ribbon and lace, adhere some flowers, ice stickles, pearls as shown on picture:-)) Viola!

The Magnolia patterned papers are so yummy and beautiful. Did you notice that I just used a sheet of patterned paper? It suits so perfect with Tilda !!! Thank you Nilla from Sweden but stay in Kuala Lumpur who bought me as a gift !!!! The crochet flowers are gift from my friend, Paul in Kuala Lumpur too, thank you very much !!! I LOVE Magnolia's patterned papers so MUCH and sure will use them again and again !!!!

OK, hope that you can understand what I written here and please don't forget to buy some Magnolia rubberstamps and papers to make your own cards!! Have a great week !!!
