Magnolia Butterfly Card CHA Las Vegas July 2013

 Last June, Magnolia Sweden requested  DTs to make some cards for showcasing at CHA Las Vegas. I love the new release Magnolia Doohickey cutting dies-Butterfly. I wanted to make a card just specially focus on it, so I made this card for them.

 This paper butterfly was actually made from two different Magnolia patterned papers. Below I show some pictures for you to see how I did the paper butterfly.

 Pasted two different Magnolia patterned papers together with glue.

 Put the glued papers on the cutting machine platform and the cutting dies on top of them. Run it through the machine.

 Here you are ! A big and beautiful butterfly.

 I layered with different source like Magnolia patterned papers, lace, chesscloth, stamped white cardstock and embossed with frantage. It was fun to play with different beautiful papers and medium.

 A greeting of Love stamped on white cardstock and distressed with Walnut Stain.

I used Magnolia Doohickey cutting dies-lace to make the beautiful border too.

 Some final touch at the bottom of the card. Paper flowers, Magnolia Doohickey cutting dies- fence, lace. They are materials that I can't live without them :-))

Sometimes it's fun to make non coloring card, just use some imagination and creativity, sure we have something special and beautiful !

MDUC #208 Fleur's Choice~ Distressing

Hello my friends,

Today at MDUC we have Fleur's choice , that's distressing ! I used two types of distressing on my card, distressing with ink and distressing with distressor on the paper edges.

This is a tag , about 5" x 6". The stamps I used here are : Tilda on the beach,Seashells kit, Fish kit, all from Magnolia Sea Breeze Collection. I colored the stamped image with Ranger Distress inks, I colored her a bit darker to show the tan on her body :-))

All the dies I used are from Magnolia Doohickey cutting dies, - Vintage Box Lacing coffee and dream catcher. I also used some product I bought from Live and Love Crafts, which is cream seam binding.................

............... cream Jute ribbon, pearl string. All the paper flowers from I am roses.com. I love all these beautiful and yummy embelishments.:-))

Cheescloth , doily, Liquid pearl, half pearl, Ice stickers is a must on my card :-)) I bet you noticed it as well :-)) I can't live without them ...haha....just kidding !

Summer Birthday !

 Hello my dear friends,

I have a project to share today!

It's a deco hanger. Actually it was a plain wooden plate on a black beautiful hanger.

My friend's birthday is around the corner so I wish to give her something special rather than a normal birthday card.

It's just great to have birthday in summer season ! :-))

 

The plain wooden plate is about 3 1/2 " x 2 ". First, I mat the wooden plate with Maja design Sofiero patterned papers, it's truly beautiful.

I stamped "Ocean Map" , "South Pacific Stamp", " It's Summer Timer" each on a piece of white cardstock then distressed with Vintage Photo ink. I also added "Happy Birthday" wording on It's Summer Times stamped image.

 I colored "Seashells Tilda" with Ranger Distress inks- 

Hair: Walnut Stain, 

Skin: Vintage Photo,

Dress: Weathered Wood, 

Ribbon and Flip Flop: Tattared Rose and Worn Lipstick, 

Bucket: Black Soot, Seashells: Walnut Stain.

Beautiful Oval dies from Noor! design. I distressed the edges with Ranger Walnut Stain.

 Beautiful white and blue paper flowers from Petaloo and added with Ranger Ice Stickles.

I decorated the card with Magnolia Doohickey dies cut: Vintage Box Lacing Coffee.

Very beautiful and sweet lace & pearl string from Live and Love Crafts.

 

 Some very beautiful seashells from my sweet teamy and friend from Indonesia, Yulis, I used them on this project , that's really a perfect match. I also added some Ranger glossy accent on the sentiment for a watery feel.

Tilda Binding Flowers at CHA Las Vegas 2013

 Hi friends,

Today I wish to show you a card that I sent to Magnolia for showcasing in summer CHA Las Vegas 22 -25 July. I know you want to say that I am addicted to sepia color:-)) Yes, really, I am :-)) hehehe.....I feel so relax to color with one color...maybe I am a bit lazy....but I promise for the next post I will back to normal coloring as well :-))

 I colored Tilda with Ranger Walnut Stain.Dies cut from Spellbinders. Paper flowers from Kodt and Godt.

I adore the beautiful patterned papers from Magnolia

 I love the new doohickey die cuts, Orchid, which I stamped with "Love background" and distressed with Walnut Stain. The trinket "adore"from Prima marketing and paper flowers from I am roses.

 It's always my dream to go overseas to share my passion with other cardmakers or join for craft show, like CHA. My projects are more lucky than me, they traveled far ! ha ha ha !!

MDUC #206 Christmas in July

 Hello my friends,

Today we are celebrating Christmas in July, this is fun :-)) I even listening some christmas songs when I made this card...hehe:-)) This is our Debbie P's choice for today's challenge.

 I colored Tilda with Ranger Distress ink Scattared Straw. Patterned papers from Pion Design.

Decorated wtih Magnolia Doohickey dies -Spurce and Cozy Big Snowflake. Paper flowers from Prima Marketing and my own stash.

I added a lot of Snow -tex and Diamond Dust to make a christmas and snowing feel. I love these Maya Trinket flowers, which I bought from Live and Love Craft:-)).

MDUC #205 Tic Tac Toe + What are little boys made of ?

 Here we have our very special challenge this week !!!! You can see that I made a baby card !! I am not pregrant nor having a baby:-)) We at MDUC are suprising our sweet teamy, Camilla S and her hubby are expecting a baby and her due date is around this week and we are so excited about it !!!! 

 Besides creating something special for Camilla us in the DT have had the option to work after a tic tac toe board created by yours truly.

 For the Tic Tac Toe, I choosed 3 designer papers, frantage and dies. I love to play with all these three element in cardmaking :-))

All three designer papers from Magnolia. I layered them by cutting with Go Kreate dies to make the base. Stamped the Magnolia "Love background" on the designer paper too.

You can notice the frantage I used on my card. I use Shabby white and enamel blue. The colors are so beautiful.

 The dies I used is from Magnolia dies cut, it's called Event Flags. I used some stickers for the wording.

 Here is another dies I used from Magnolia. I also stamped the "Love background" and "New York" stamp on the tag. The beautiful flowers from Petaloo and Kort and Godt. Blue Half Pearls from Storyteller that you can get it from Camilla S hubby shop:-))

  I stained the flags with Ranger Walnut Stain ink and painted with gesso. The beautiful plastic flower is really beautiful, thank you very much Yulis:-)) I painted the crown with Ranger Rock Candy Clear crackle paint.

MDUC #204 Kathrin Choice~ Shabby

 Hello my friends,

We, at MDUC have a different challenge for you to play, our design team member have their  favourite challenge theme, this week we have Kathirn to have her SHABBY challenge ~~I am excited, as it's a beautiful and lovely theme and we can play along with lace, doily, pearls, and so much more. So, this is my card for the challenge, I hope you like it.:-))

 Using Go-Kreate die as a card base , added patterned papers and white cardstock for the layering. I use paper doily and cheesecloth too. White fabric flower from Prima marketing. White peonies flower made from Magnolia cutting dies. I also used Noor design cutting dies.

 So Wrapped Lovely tag from Magnolia cutting dies, sponged with Ranger Walnut stain and added "Love" sticker wording. Very beautiful Seam binding, lace and Pearl string from Live and Love Craft. Brown flower from Petaloo.Peach half pearl from Storyteller, which given by Camilla S as a gift. Thank you very much my sweet dear.:-))

 Spiral flowers from Kodt and Godt, White rose from I am Roses, thailand. I stamped "Love" background and "New York" postage on the colored image.

 This image is Tripping Flower Tilda from Magnolia rubberstamps. I colored with Ranger Walnut Stain refill ink. Added some Ranger peach liquid pearl and Ranger Gold Stickles on flowers.

 I used Gesso to white-wash flowers and some parts of the card. I also applied Snow-tex here and there to make it more shabby look.
