DT Magnolia: Sweet Christmas Dream

Hello friends,
Here is the first card I want to share with you a card I made from Magnolia Sweet Christmas Dream Collection rubberstamp. It's called Ribbon Tilda. She looks cute and so innocent:-))
I want to join the MDUC challenge. There has very talented ladies at MDUC and I always want to join them for the challenge, but I missed every time. I saw the sketch from Camilla's blog yesterday so I quickly make a card from the stamps I received from Magnolia.

                                            Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye
                                            Paper flowers: I am roses.com
                                            BoBunny rub on, buttons.
Ranger Ice stickles, ribbon from my stash.

Here is the sketch that I follow.
Hope that inspired with my card and have a great week.

You Made me Smile

                                                                Hello friends,
                                                                How are you ?
It's mid october already and christmas is around the corner.
I have received the stamp club kit and the Sweet Christmas Dream collection is on it's way.
I am still working on a new card and by the way I wish to share a tag I made sometimes ago with you.
I used Christmas stamp 2010, patterned paper from Pion design.

I used Magnolia doohickey Tilda lace die cut,Spellbinders oval die cut, paper flowers from I am roses.com and Prima Marketing. This was a recycle project though. I made the tag from Prima flowers packaging.

Hope that you have a great weekend.

TOMIC#18 Magnolia Birthday Special: Anything but a card "Halloween"

I noticed I prefer bright color.
When come to dark color, I don't feel comfortable.
I don't have confidence.

Anyway, I need to make something.
This is a Halloween Deco.
It's measure is 19cm x 11cm
It's not a card, if you think it looks like stair card.
Nope.:-))

We don't celebrate Halloween here.
But, if you ask me to be a witch,
I may try it, it's fun, I think:-))

All the stamped images colored with Distress inks, as usual.
Patterned paper and stamps from Magnolia, off course:-))

Happy Halloween to you and Happy Birthday to Magnolia !!
Thanks for viewing:-))

The Creative Scrappers Brazil Guest Designer: Recycle with Spring Theme

Hello my friends,
Today is World Cardmaking Day and I had been very honoured to invited by Lena from The Creative Scrappers Brazil to be their guest designer for their cardmaking forum. I really appreciate their effort to contact me and Magnolia for this guest designer spot. They even published my interview by Magnolia INK magazine on their forum:-)) How nice!

 This is what they wrote:
The Creative Scrappers is a very special place full of a lot of talented people willing to help everybody. On october 1st, we will celebrate our new layout, the coming of our new team and the WCMD 2011.
Our party starts with the presentation of our team and the new layout followed by a lot of step by step workshops, challenges and tips.We are very proud and happy with you being part of our party and we are all very anxious about it.

It's spring time in Brazil at this moment. I bet they can smell the fragrant of the flowers, the flesh air and the sunshine everywhere. They are happy just like Tilda:-))
This project was very simple and easy to make. I colored Tilda with Distress inks, patterned paper from Pion Design.

This was the packaging I used for the project. Covered with patterned paper and decorated as you wish, simple and easy.

Flowers from Iam roses.com
Chipcarton from embelliscrap.com
Floral scrap from Crafty Secret
Lace as a present from my friend, Adeline.

Thank you very much my Brazillian friends for your appreciation to invite me to be the guest designer.I feel honoured and proud, hope that I have chance to make cards/projects for your forum next time:-))

TOMIC#13: Back to School + metal

Here is a short post too...
Today the TOMIC challenge is school theme with metal.
Any stamp will do for this challenge if you don't have school related stamps(Magnolia), but you can create a school background or illustrate it.

I used an old Tilda stamp, I love the old style-)

First I painted light green paint on a chipboard and covered with patterned paper.Applied white paint on corrugated paper. Let it dry. Then arranged other materials on it , like patterned paper, chipboard, lace, and Tilda.
I tied the two colored pencils together with wire and embelished with two paper flowers
I also stamped the sentiment patterned paper, distressed wtih Ranger Vintage Photo distress ink.
For the hanger, the stick was not wood, but it's cinnamon stick. I punched two holes on the chipboard and I tied the lace and ribbon with wire on the cinnamon and chipboard.
Lastly decorated with some metal charms, half pears and paper flowers here and there.

Card recipe:
Stamps: Magnolia
Patterned Paper: Prima Marketing
Chipboard: Embelliscrap.com
Embelishments: Paper flowers, half pearls, metal charms, wire, stickles
Coloring: Distress inks

Hope you have a nice day and don't forget to get some inspiration from my teamies:-)
