New Easter Day Tag: Vintage Girl and Magnolia Mini Stamps

I love vintage , as well as I love Magnolia:-)) I combined Magnolia mini stamps and the vintage sheet, I love this girl, this vintage sheet produces by Pion design. I used a hardboard to make a tag , which measure  3" x5". Patterned papers are from Magnolia and Pion design, I love their design, very pretty !

I distressed the patterned paper with small scissors and inked with Ranger Tea dye ink. I painted the corrugated paper with Crackle Paint-Picket Fence( white). I tied two strips of tulle with raffia , the small and pretty vintage buttons were gift from my Austria friend, Martina. The white spot on the left corner is liquid pearl Opal white.

Pion design patterned paper has two sides, so I stamped the sentiment ( Magnolia ) on the other side of scrap paper. I also painted the patterned paper with some Picket Fence paint. The small roses flowers were gift from I am roses.com, thailand.

I stamped Tilda and eggs stamps on 300gsm , aquerell paper and colored with distress inks. I cut out the eggs , glued it behind the ribbon. I also added a stip of Tim Holtz filmstrip ribbon.I made the eggs crackled with Crackle essents.

The beautiful cream lace given by my friend Adeline and the doily by Yenni in Singapore, thank you both very much !
I hope you all enjoyed and inspired by my Easter Vintage tag, Happy Easter day to every one !

New Card: Tilda with Flower Pot( Butterfly Dream Collection)

I  finally done all my cards and projects for the next Magnolia INK magazine. I have some spare time today so I made a card that in Butterfly Dream Collection, Tilda with Flower Pot.

I stamped Tilda on 300gsm watercoloring paper with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I colored her with distress ink pads.
Dress and shoe: Bundle Sage
Jacket: Black Soot
Hair: Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain

I arranged the flowers and decorated the cards with all kind of embelishments like Prima marketing pebbles, half pearls and Ranger Ice Stickles.

I used Magnolia mini papers which just release during spring and it's 6"x 6", it's so convenince when we want to use them for cardmaking. You can buy them at most of the online stores which carry Magnolia products.

I  also used Tim Holtz sizzix Heart and wing die. I cut it out with my cuttlebug machine, painted with Old paper and picket fence crackle paint on it. Let it dry awhile then I distressed it with Walnut Stain distress ink pad.

I wish to enter this card to two challanges ( oh, I miss challanges so much !):

Hope that you like my card and got inspired:-)) Have a great weekend!

Distress inks coloring tutorial for beginner

Hello my dear friends,
I am very excited to show you my very first distress inks coloring tutorial for beginner. I wish to apologize that I took so long to post this tutorial because I have mixed up the photos and I have a very hard time to make them in to pictures files.
My english is very poor so that I just can use very basic and simple english to write down my coloring experince. These are the steps I used to color my Tilda. I am NOT a coloring expert and I just want to share what I do with you:-)

OK, some people asked me why I choose distress inks not copic?
I have some reason, the first thing is, because it's cheaper compare to Copic, secondly, it's easy to use:-))
If you have any questions that you are not clear, you can email me, I will try to answer if I can.:-))
::Please click the pictures to make it more clearer to read::
If you want to link my tutorial to your site, please let me know beforehand, thank you very much.

I hope that you will enjoy my tutorial and try your own!

Edit: I received many emails regarding watercoloring papers that I use, well, it's from Norway and it's a gift from my friend Helle, I really don't know the brand of the papers. But there has many brand like Canson, Fabrino, Arches out there, try googled them and if possible get the "hot pressed" one:-)
